Race preparations
May is associated with the time of love, or the time of the beginning of the cycling season, where the DHL Sereďmaratón can also be included. This year, the 17th year in a row is being prepared. Even the organizers know it, and work in individual areas is already in full swing.
It is important to write down the race date of May 21, 2023. The race is part of several calendars. Among them is the UCI calendar, of which races have been a part since 2019, or the calendar of the Trnava Cycling League for the second year in a row. There is also the SZC calendar, maratony.eu, MTBIKER.sk, or trenujeme.sk. We are glad that our race is appearing in so many places.
In addition to communication support, we are also happy for support from partners, institutions and, in particular, the city of Sereď. Thanks to them, we can prepare the next edition of the main and children's races for cyclists. The Children's Sereďmaratónik is scheduled again between the start and the arrival of the competitors from the main race.
Registration is open
Registration for the event has just opened. You can currently register for the best price of €25, which can save you up to 30%. The advantageous registration will be valid until March 17. In April, the price will again be slightly more favorable, €30, but you can still save 15%. During the month of May, registration for €35 will be possible only until May 17.
The price for the entry fee has not increased thanks to the support of our original and new partners. Although all prices on the market have increased, we managed to maintain prices and not increase them this year as well.
ATTENTION this year we have set a limit of participants! We recommend that you do not leave the registration to the last minute. Registration will not be possible on the day of the race.
News and changes
After 4 years, the race route should return to the original 116 km long version and pass through the legendary Havran mountain pass. Approval processes are currently underway. However, there are other alternatives in play. Before the start itself, we will prepare various competitions on social networks, present news and new partners.
The plan also includes training rides, which were of great interest last year. We can outline that new services are being prepared for cyclists in the field of racing.
