After a forced one-year break, the jubilee 15th year of the international cycling race will start a month later. Although the marathon for the year was replaced by a virtual alternative, which also found its category of cyclists this year. This year we believe, we already see live. An important moment took place in the position of key partners. As organizing the event requires considerable financial support, we were able to reach out to companies that are positive about cycling.
Historic moment
The historic moment became the general partner. At the 13th year we were supported by a couple of nice prizes in the raffle, at the 14th year they showed interest in a general partner and at the 15th year we signed a three-year cooperation. This is the first multi-year professional cooperation in the history of the race. DHL Supply Chain Slovakia has become the general partner, which will dress the overall winner of the race in a yellow jersey, take care of competitions, attractions and various games for visitors but especially for the youngest spectators in the square. How do the individual representatives see the cooperation? "We are very pleased with this cooperation. We appreciate the decision of DHL management. We are glad that we have met their expectations in recent years and we have agreed on multi-year cooperation. We are very pleased with this decision and at the same time motivate not to give up on the organization and constant progress, "said race director Lukáš Riha. In addition to investing in green logistics solutions, our commitment to a greener future also includes support for educational and sporting events. The mountain and speed premium will change and expand this year. New forms of support were also created with the Main Partner partnership. This is a new partnership that will cover speed and mountain premiums. The individual bonuses will take on a new look, will be visible from a distance and we believe that they will also be full of encouraging viewers. :-) The partner for the mountain premium is the Oliva group network of filling stations, which has so far supported the marathon as a Premium Partner and has also been an official partner for fuels. Technov, a company dealing with air conditioning, for which this will be its first cooperation, has taken the Speed Premium partner under its wings. We will show you the numbers and exact locations of these premiums on the new route in the coming days. If you want to know their positions earlier, you can take part in our training rides along the Sereď Marathon route and you will be the first to find out.
