On the last weekend of October, the members of the organizing club ŠK Cyklo-Tour Sereď met in Piešťany to evaluate and celebrate the 2022 season and present their plans for 2023. In addition to the whole of Slovakia, the organizing team was also elected.

This is also how we can briefly describe the two days that the club members spent at their partner in Piešťany at Hotel Park Avenue, where press conferences for the races are also held. The annual members' meeting began with sports activities - some members decided to relax in the city with their children, the other went hiking and another joint ride of almost 100 km along the Vážská cycle route from Piešťany to Trenčín and back. Although the forecast promised a long-term temperature above 20 degrees and partly cloudy, the reality was different - 13 degrees cloudy and foggy. The typical Dušíček weather did not deter cyclists from getting on their bikes and setting out for what was probably the last ride of the season. After returning, a delicious dinner awaited the members, followed by the meeting itself.
The meeting was summarized and evaluated
As usual, the end of the year belongs to numbers and data. But not from the cycle computer, but by starting at events and positions. The results of the members and the meeting itself were discussed directly on the organizer's club page. During the year, the DHL Sereďmarathon organizers also prepared other events or co-organized them. In addition to the DHL Sereďmarathon, which broke all participation records from previous years, there was also a children's Sereďmarathon, or Virtual ride. They also participated in the Around Slovakia, Trnava Cycling League, Košickopolianská 10, V4 eCUPe, and the Slovakian Esport Championships.
Elections were also held in our country
During Saturday, in addition to municipal elections and elections to the VÚC, elections were held in the organizing team of ŠK Cyklo-Tour Sereď. In addition to various club positions, the chairman of the club and the race director of the DHL Sereďmaratón were also elected. The members agreed that Lukáš Riha remains the chairman of the club and the race director. In the coming period, he will continue with his team to develop the race and maintain its level. "I appreciate and was pleased to be re-elected to these positions. I take it as another challenge with respect and humility. I am happy to be a part of this club and I will continue to try to create the best possible conditions for our members and raise the level of racing. Thank you all for your trust," thanked Lukáš Riha.
DHL Sereďmarathon 2023
